Todd McShay is an American football analyst, commentator, and reporter who currently works for ESPN. He was born on March 22, 1977, in Swampscott, Massachusetts, USA.
McShay played football in high school and went on to play as a quarterback in college at the University of Richmond. However, his football career came to an end due to an eye condition that caused him to lose vision in one eye.
After his playing career ended, McShay began his career as a scouting assistant for the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars. He then worked as a scout for three other NFL teams before joining ESPN as a college football analyst in 2006.
Since joining ESPN, McShay has become one of the most recognized analysts in college football, often appearing on the network's flagship program, College GameDay. He is known for his in-depth scouting reports and analysis of NFL draft prospects.
McShay has also been involved in several charitable organizations, including the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He has been married to his wife, Lauren, since 2006, and they have two children.
